NFL Week 10 Power Rankings

Another week of NFL football is in the books! These last 10 weeks have flown by, and each week has been entertaining despite the circumstances 2020 has brought us. This week, we got arguably the best finish to a game this season as DeAndre Hopkins made an incredible Hail Mary catch to secure a win for the Cardinals.

The playoff picture is starting to shape up, so let's take a look at this week's power rankings!

1. Pittsburgh Steelers (9-0, 1st in AFC North)

-Last week's rank: 1st

-Week 10 result: Win vs Bengals, 36-10

The Steelers kept it rolling this week taking care of their division rival the Cincinatti Bengals. Roethlisberger had arguably his best outing of the year throwing for 4 touchdown passes in this one. They remain at the top spot this week.

2. Kansas City Chiefs (8-1, 1st in AFC West)

-Last week's rank: 2nd

-Week 10 result: Bye

3. Baltimore Ravens (6-3, 2nd in AFC North)

-Last week's rank: 3rd

-Week 10 result: Loss @ Patriots, 23-17

The Ravens are reeling as their offense seems to have been figured out. However they are still the 3rd best team in the league thanks to a great point differential, away record, and one of the tougher schedules in the league.

4. New Orleans Saints (7-2, 1st in NFC South)

-Last week's rank: 4th

-Week 10 result: Win vs 49ers, 27-13

Alvin Kamara has thrust himself into the MVP conversation with his play this season. He's been by far their best offensive player on both the ground and as a receiver. So far it's paying off after another solid win for the Saints.

This one came at a price however as it looks like Drew Brees is going to miss multiple weeks. This is why they brought Jameis in as a backup, and we'll see if he can keep the ship afloat.

5. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (7-3, 2nd in NFC South)

-Last week's rank: 7th

-Week 10 result: Win @ Panthers, 46-23

The Bucs got back on track this week with a blowout win over a Panthers team that is better than its record shows. The offense was potent once again this week and it lifts the Bucs back into the top 5 of our power rankings.

6. Green Bay Packers (7-2, 1st in NFC North)

-Last week's rank: 5th

-Week 10 result: Win vs Jaguars, 24-20

Green Bay underperformed a bit this week despite picking up a win. The Jags have been awful this year, but were able to run the ball effectively against a weak Packers front 7, and that kept them alive in this one. However a win is a win, so the Packers only fall one spot this week.

7. Miami Dolphins (6-3, 2nd in AFC East)

-Last week's rank: 6th

-Week 10 result: Win vs Chargers, 29-21

Tua prevailed in the battle of rookie QB's as the Dolphins hot streak continued this week. 3 straight wins for the Fins as they remain in our top 10 for a second straight week.

8. Las Vegas Raiders (6-3, 2nd in AFC West)

-Last week's rank: 12th

-Week 10 result: Win vs Broncos, 37-12

3 straight wins now for the Raiders and it's time we start to take this team more seriously. Now sitting at 6-3, they've actually had one of the tougher schedules in the league and are 4-1 on the road. One of which came against the Chiefs earlier this year, combine that with a home win against the Saints in week 2, and you're looking at a team with wins against two of our top 5 teams. The Raiders are legit this year.

9. Indianapolis Colts (6-3, T-1st in AFC South)

-Last week's rank: 13th

-Week 10 result: Win @ Titans, 34-17

The Colts had a huge Thursday Night win against the Titans to take the lead over Tennessee in the AFC South. Their defense is one of the best in the league, which is great considering the offense can be shaky at times with Rivers at the helm. But he played very well this week, and the Colts look like the strongest team in this division.

10. Arizona Cardinals (6-3, T-1st in NFC West)

-Last week's rank: 9th

-Week 10 result: Win vs Bills, 32-30

The Cardinals escaped in a thriller thanks to the catch/play of the year from DeAndre Hopkins. Now in a 3 way tie for 1st in the division, the Cardinals are a legitimate threat to win the division.

11. Buffalo Bills (7-3, 1st in AFC East)

-Last week's rank: 8th

-Week 10 result: Loss @ Arizona, 32-30

A great win for Arizona, unfortunately came at the expense of a crushing loss for the Bills. If Hopkins doesn't make an incredible play, maybe we're talking more about what would've been a game winning drive from Josh Allen. But the Bills are a tad overrated to me overall, and just outside the top 10 this week.

12. Seattle Seahawks (6-3, T-1st in NFC West)

-Last week's rank: 11th

-Week 10 result: Loss @ Rams, 23-16

Another disappointing loss for the Seahawks as Russell Wilson once again struggled with turnovers. They've now lost 3 of their last 4 games, and in all 3 Russ has had 3 or more turnovers. If Russ doesn't cook, this team doesn't win.

13. Los Angelos Rams (6-3, T-1st in NFC West)

-Last week's rank: 14th

-Week 10 result: Win vs Seahawks, 23-16

The offense underperformed a bit in this one but the Rams elite defense forced enough turnovers to get the job done. A much needed bounce back win for the Rams sees them move up a spot in our rankings.

14. Tennessee Titans (6-3, T-1st in AFC South)

-Last week's rank: 10th

-Week 10 result: Loss vs Colts, 34-17

The offense couldn't get the passing game going against a tough Colts defense, and the Titans defense was easy to move the ball against this week. This offense isn't quite elite enough to consistently make up for a poor defense. And it shows when they play good teams. They've now lost 3 of their last 4 after starting 5-0.

15. Cleveland Browns (6-3, 3rd in AFC North)

-Last week's rank: 17th

-Week 10 result: Win vs Texans, 10-7

16. Minnesota Vikings (4-5, 3rd in NFC North)

-Last week's rank: 19th

-Week 10 result: Win @ Bears 19-13

The Vikings are on a roll after picking up their 3rd straight win on Monday Night against the Bears. Since they've gotten back to force feeding Dalvin Cook, they've been winning games. Seems they've found their recipe for success.

17. San Francisco 49ers (4-6, 4th in NFC West)

-Last week's rank: 15th

-Week 10 result: Loss @ Saints, 27-13

18. Chicago Bears (5-5, 2nd in NFC North)

-Last week's rank: 16th

-Week 10 result: Loss vs Vikings, 19-13

19. Atlanta Falcons (3-6, 3rd in NFC South)

-Last week's rank: 18th

-Week 10 result: Bye

20. New England Patriots (4-5, 3rd in AFC East)

-Last week's rank: 26th

-Week 10 result: Win vs Ravens, 23-17

The Pats ran all over a tough Ravens defense to pick up a second straight win. This win keeps their playoff hopes alive if they can make a run late in the season. As bad as they've been, they're a Cam Newton fumble away from being above .500.

21. Detroit Lions (4-5, 4th in NFC North)

-Last week's rank: 23rd

-Week 10 result: Win vs WFT, 30-27

22. New York Giants (3-7, 2nd in NFC East)

-Last week's rank: 28th

-Week 10 result: Win vs Eagles, 27-17

A big NFC East win over the Eagles pulls them closer in the race for best of the worst. Danny Dimes ran all over the Eagles in this one, giving them their 2nd straight win.

23. Carolina Panthers (3-7, 4th in NFC South)

-Last week's rank: 20th

-Week 10 result: Loss vs Bucs, 46-23

24. Los Angelos Chargers (2-7, 4th in AFC West)

-Last week's rank: 21st

-Week 10 result: Loss @ Dolphins, 29-21

25. Philadelphia Eagles (3-5-1, 1st in NFC East)

-Last week's rank: 25th

-Week 10 result: Loss vs NYG, 27-17

-Last week's rank: 24th

-Last week's rank: 29th

-Week 10 result: Loss @ Lions, 30-27

30. Dallas Cowboys (2-7, 4th in NFC East)

-Last week's rank: 30th

-Week 10 result: bye

31. Jacksonville Jaguars (1-8, 4th in AFC South)

-Last week's rank: 31st

-Week 10 result: Loss @ Packers, 24-20
